Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. They DESTROYED my mother's perfectly good car. She loved that car, it was perfectly fine, and now the engine is completely cooked because of this place's neglect. They did nothing to rectify the issue or compensate her for the property damage they directly caused. This is disgusting, shameful behavior from a business. Never, ever go here.

Picked up a car wash package deal on June 2nd: 10 Super Duper washes for $99.00 and there's NO EXPIRATION DATE for using them!! Usually $13 each, this is A DEAL!! Plus they have free self serve vacuums, and staff treat you well.

Long story short. My 16 year old daughter got her first car but it's used so we didn't know the full history of it. Took it in for an oil change, Max was great. I told him my concerns with the car. I could tell the car had been in there before from the previous oil change sticker. Max let me know what had been done previously. We checked all the lights together and he explained a few things about the car I didn't know how to do like reset the oil percentage. Max was stellar and hope he's gets some recognition for being patient and thorough especially on a Sunday at 4pm.

5-Star Review for Fast Eddie’s Car Wash & Oil Change I had an excellent experience at Fast Eddie’s Car Wash & Oil Change! The customer service was outstanding—everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely took pride in their work. They recommended the appropriate oil for my vehicle, and while the price was about $10 more than I usually pay, the value was absolutely worth it. The multi-point inspection was thorough, giving me peace of mind, and the team was extremely professional. A special shoutout to Michelle, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. On top of it all, the service included a top-of-the-line car wash that left my car looking fantastic. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend Fast Eddie’s to anyone looking for quality service and care! Also there WAS NO WAIT! They can service like 6 vehicles at once so even if you think they’re going to make you wait they won’t! UPDATE - I went back for my 2nd oil change & 5 Stars Again! This time I took advantage of THE FREE CAR WASH - hands down the best wash in Lansing, see my updated photo! They even have a hand dryer, an actual person who hustles to wipe the water away as your car
